for me, the golden globes are just a filler spot on the tv guide. i watch them, but nothing compares to the oscars. it just doesn't. i even forgot that the globes were on tonight, until i got onto cocoperez.com and saw a sneak peek of a few celebrities.

so, i thought that i'd refine my previous post with my resolution. more of a list.
1. become the woman i know that i am inside. (woman? feels weird to say, but i will be 18 this year, so I suppose it fits. :]) 2. be able to wear the gorgeous clothes hanging in my closet. 3. travel out of the country. 4. find a way to get to new york city. 5. get a legit camera and document every little thing, i have a feeling that this is going to be a great year.

my new year's wasn't so great actually. nothing too awful, but nothing memorable either, nothing i necessarily want to remember. you know, 2010 is supposed to be filled with destiny! cliche, who cares. i'm a senior, damnit! in six months i'm graduated and will be pushed and prodded with the stamp of adulthood. you'd think i have some sort of plan, right. EHHHHHHH! nope, not a clue. right now the leading two options are a) be a nanny somewhere or b) work on a cruise line. both of which sound amazing to me. paid room and board with experience being offered and a salary. not too shabby. but i still have some time. not really. but we'll just pretend like i do. fun rant?
can't even be put into words. the only thing i've ever known about coco chanel is her name and that her clothes are indescribable. i've never known any background any characteristics any mannerisms, nada.
i was sitting at my computer this evening and i was just curious as to when and if it was playing this weekend and i saw that it was only playing TONIGHT and then it was leaving the theatre. which is why i hate living in a small town where art in film doesn't last long. i asked my best friend if she wanted to go. and she said no, i was...mad? yes, mad. she always goes with me. sad face. so, then i called my other friend who had told me how much she wanted to see it...excuse? too much homework, if you read this, i hate you both. so, i ended up going by myself. and it was more pleasant than i thought it would be. i bought a dark chocolate with raspberry bar, i thought that was an appropriate snack, and i went to go sit all by myself in a theater that turned out to be quite packed. it was a nice thursday night.
and, audrey tautou may be the most gorgeous woman i have ever seen. so effortlessly chic and elegant, but it's not like those are new adjectives to describe her beauty. i'm finished.
