my review apres chanel.

can't even be put into words. the only thing i've ever known about coco chanel is her name and that her clothes are indescribable. i've never known any background any characteristics any mannerisms, nada.

i was sitting at my computer this evening and i was just curious as to when and if it was playing this weekend and i saw that it was only playing TONIGHT and then it was leaving the theatre. which is why i hate living in a small town where art in film doesn't last long. i asked my best friend if she wanted to go. and she said no, i was...mad? yes, mad. she always goes with me. sad face. so, then i called my other friend who had told me how much she wanted to see it...excuse? too much homework, if you read this, i hate you both.
so, i ended up going by myself. and it was more pleasant than i thought it would be. i bought a dark chocolate with raspberry bar, i thought that was an appropriate snack, and i went to go sit all by myself in a theater that turned out to be quite packed. it was a nice thursday night.

and, audrey tautou may be the most gorgeous woman i have ever seen. so effortlessly chic and elegant, but it's not like those are new adjectives to describe her beauty.
i'm finished.

make sure and see this film!

favorite outfit in the entire movie.

and we're off!

no school today! thank you veterans. so for me, that means that my plans include (but are not limited to) never getting out of bed, listening to the secrets of carrie bradshaw, samantha jones, miranda hobbes, and charlotte york, reading, and sleeping. oh, and it's supposed to rain today.
for future reference, if you ever want to make me feel good, make sure all of the above is happening at once and i'll love you until it stops and you can do it all over again. :D
speaking of sex and the city i've been recently trying to think which of the girls' style i love the most, and i've come to this conclusion. during the series, i loved charlotte's style the most, with the exception of a few episodes of carrie bradshaw's wardrobe that is very amazing. the final two episodes of the series in paris, i would do everything in my grasp to get to those clothes. and in the movie sense, that's even more of a challenge. i'll put them in order of my love.
1.carrie bradshaw (duh)
2.samantha jones
3.miranda hobbes
4.charlotte york
yes, that's it.

now, for sex and the city 2, morocco and the 80's! the wardrobe is going to be more budget friendly. which i'm a little upset about. sure, they want to make it more "real", but people worry about budget woes enough in REAL life, why would they want to watch a movie about watered down style? that's a little too harsh, watered down. price reduced, we'll go with that. i want extravagant manolos and more of carrie's teal and white jacket from the house hunting with mr.big scene. but, it won't be dull. no no no.

and that's all for today! time to go get lost.

EDIT: after watching a few episodes i was reminded that carrie steals the show every episode and i should kick myself for even thinking otherwise. good day!
